 is the showy and ubiquitous flower of Cornish hedges, being fortunately somewhat resistant to flailing as its prolific seeds begin to ripen earlier than most species.)
 flourishes in Cornish hedges as long as the summer growth on the hedge-side is not trimmed, so the bluebell leaves can grow fully and die down naturally, returning nutrients to the bulbous roots for next year%27s flower.)
